Hi, I am Maria!
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, I’m a researcher currently based in London, with over three years of experience across UX and market research.
As a UX researcher, I’ve managed end-to-end research projects, using a range of methods, from user surveys and qualitative interviews to usability testing. I began my career in market research, where I managed global projects for clients across technology, FMCG, and automotive. Working across different sectors has taught me to adapt quickly and understand diferent users and customers.
I hold a Master’s degree in International Politics. While my career has taken a different direction, my interest in how people think, behave, and interact, has stayed with me. That curiosity has shaped the way I approach my work as a researcher today.
Outside of work, I’m a big traveller. Exploring new places and meeting people gives me fresh energy to return to everyday life. You'll also often find me regularly exercise, as I believe taking care of physical health is closely connected to mental well-being.
What I value
Adaptability
Flexibility is a strength I’ve developed through working across different sectors and industries.
Communication
Project management and UN communications internship developed my communication skills.
Proactivity
I don’t wait for someone else to solve the problem. I take on challenges myself and find a way forward.
